Mad Men-Ebay Charity Auctions

Are you a "Maddict" with lots of extra spending money in your vintage pockets?  Then head on over to Ebay and check out the set furniture and cast clothing that are being auctioned off for the charity, City of Hope.  Wonderful charity and you'll be bidding on some amazing pieces.  Note I said, you'll be bidding.  Lol.  I don't have that kind of moolah but one can always dream!

Mad Men Style Vlog #3

This is the third entry in AMC's Mad Men Style weekly vlog series.  It discusses one of my absolute favorite parts of a woman's wardrobe: dresses.  By the way, the purple dress they designed for Joan when she went to work for Bonwit Teller is truly a beautiful piece.  We have a pair of vintage 50's Bonwit Teller black and white leather spiked heels for sale in our boutique and they are positively divine.  They look practically brand new which is a true testament to the superior quality with which items were made in days gone by.  Oh how I long for that to return in our now disposable culture. 

Okay, enough babbling...enjoy the vlog and try not to drool too much over Janie Bryant's mother's dress.
